I'm sort of hoping that this is Photoshopped because otherwise, I mean, why?  Why the hell would anyone farm spiders?

Oh that's hilarious - I didn't realise it was on the Isle of Wight - my parents live on the Isle of Wight!!

An infestation of mutant-glow-in-the-dark spiders might liven the place up.

Thankfully I've since found out it was a photoshopped joke. I thought as much because I've never heard of a spider farm anywhere in the UK - or anywhere else for that matter!!!

Just the thought of it is ... NOPE!

Indeed. The same book enumerated all the different species of spider and made comparison with the human population of the plantet and pointed out that the odds were 76000-1 in favour of the spider :S

My dad was in the army and his base was stationed. Right next to a tarantula breeding ground. If you disturbed them you would be fined and they just had free range of this who park. So not a farm but gross right
