It's been a while since we had a bit of Soldier Boy, so here he is!

So, I'm finally back from beautiful Roma and mourning the end of another Jus in Bello convention (more on that soon!)
However, today is not about me, it's about this fine specimen who is celebrating his birthday today ...

December 23 → travel you did this year

It was so nice to start travelling again after all the Covid madness, and this year I managed to get to Paris twice (for conventions) and Rome, for the long-awaited JIB which had been postponed multiple times.

Within the UK, I went to the Isle of Wight lots of times to visit my parents and to do arty stuff, Stratford upon Avon for my birthday, London several times for various reasons, Birmingham NEC for Crossroads convention, Blenheim Palace for a works teambuilding exercise, and Kent to visit Hever Castle and our JJ's lovely family.

I hope that next year brings lots more opportunities for travel!

December 24 → Something which caught your interest this year

Apart from the usual things that interest me, I would say that Jensen's stint on the Boys really got me interested in that programme (I can't imagine why...), and probably a little more interested in the genre overall.

I loved The Boys enough to attend Vought Con in the spring this year, and I'm booked for next year too. I'm absolutely hoping with everythng crossed that Jensen gets to reprise that role next season!!

December 15 → something that made you laugh this year

Many things have made me laugh this year, but large among tham have been this gorgeous bugger with his perfect arse (yes, we've seen it), and his hilariously obnoxious attitude!

My Christmas wish list consists of one item. An entire album of Jensen singing Blondie hits — in the character of Soldier Boy.

I love that Soldier Boy loves the maturer ladies.

I always used to think, what a shame, I'm a bit too old for Dean Winchester. Now I'm worried that at 54 I might be too young for Soldier Boy!

Jensen in 'The Boys' is the gift that keeps on giving!

As I am here at home, doing my best to get my noggin back in order, I've decided 'creative' is the way to go. That's how I can relax and divert myself, and so on that basis, today, this happened ...
