It's 2016 already?  Where the heck did 2015 go?

It was a funny old year.  From a personal point of view, everything was ticking along happily; from a work point of view, everything went to shit; but from a fandom point of view, I have never before felt so inolved and so blessed as I feel to be a part of this amazing group of people.

I met so many of you in person, and that was special, so very special to be able to finally enjoy real hugs as opposed to virtual hugs!  I also went to three conventions and took part in Reverse Big Bang for the first time (thanks amberdreams, you are totally my enabler!)

So here it is, because everyone else is doing it and if I ever did have an original thought in my head, it would be very lonely, my fandom review of 2015!

Well, that was Asylum 15.  It was a lovely weekend of fun and frolics with Lucifer, Kevin, Aaron Bass, our two delightful Lady Sheriffs Jodie and Donna, Samandriel, Ash and Amy.  Thanks to my fabulous convention buddies, amberdreams, 999alena, katwoman76, theymp and his gorgeous daughter, Lily, xlittleangx, and heavenli24 for their company which made a special weekend wonderful!

More on Asylum 15 later, I'm tired after a long drive and need to unpack.   However, the hot news is ... I've got home to find I have got a Jensen Meet and Greet at Jus in Bello !!!!! Twenty minutes in a confined space with the man!   I might just die of happy.

It will measure 9.2 on the Richter scale ...

Well, it's just under 2 months to Asylum 15 and that means it's time to start working on some more portraits.  I have three in mind to get done for October, and this is the first one:
