The two big maps I have on my office wall have been with me for many years, and they make me happy because they are a reminder of all the fabulous opportunities for travelling  I've been lucky enough to enjoy throughout my life. I stick a pin in every new destination I visit so the memories of that place stay with me forever!

I hope you get the opportunity. I'm totally aware of how fortunate I've been to have the opportunity to do this travelling, and like I said to Tifaching, having family and friends in Australia and New Zealand makes those parts of the world far more accessible!

Definitely having friends and family in those countries is fortunate. Having a place to stay, and not having to fork over money for hotel costs, and much of the food costs. Making your trip expenses exponentially less than for others.

Absolutely. I would have struggled to get to either of those places without that connection. Maybe once - but certainly not the three times I have been able to do it so far!
