Remembering June - 'Jensen time'

Ever since all the lockdowns started here in the UK last March, I have been sending June (jj1564) a picture of Jensen (or Dean) on Fb Messenger every day.  Very often, I didn't say anything, just 'Jensen time'.  It was just my way of letting June know that I was thinking of her.  She'd often respond with something like 'Oooo, luvverly!'

Yesterday, I saw a picture of Jensen on Facebook, and I saved it to my phone because I thought June would really like it.  And then I remembered...

We all had our own individual interactions with June; she touched so many lives in so many positive ways and we'd be here forever if we tried to write about them all.  Because of this, I've set up a little Facebook group, 'Remembering June', where we can share pictures and memories of our lovely lady.  It's a private group, and if you are a Fb friend of mine, you've probably already had an invite, but if you haven't had an invite, and would like to join, please PM me.

Also, if you would like an address to send a sympathy card to June's family, drop me a PM too.

Well in truth, researching a Jensen pic every day wasn't exactly a hardship!

So many people have lamented never having the chance to meet June in real life. I feel very privileged to have done so.

This is such a lovely tribute. <3333 A few years ago, JA did the most amazing call to start the engines at a NASCAR race--so amazing, in fact, that NASCAR social media has continuously brought out the clip to replay even though at this point it's been literal years and that is very much not the norm. So every time they did that, I also felt the need to post about them doing that. And every single time I posted, June also always commented. And we had basically the same convo every single time but it was just as great every single time. I will think of her every single time it comes up in the future, always. <3

I LOVED those posts. The NASCAR thing was just sooooo amazing. Sends a shiver up my spine everytime. And yes, sweet little convos like that are what life is all about. ♥

But yes, it was lovely to just connect with her every day, even if it were just for a brief online exchange, especially during this pandemic when we had to spend so much time apart.

I'm just heartbroken. It feels like the true end of an era, but as you say, we will always have these lovely memories. Thank you for always being the liaison and letting us know what was happening with June. You were a true friend to her, and it comforts me to know it. <3 <3

I think we all feel the same way as you. Today has been the first time I've been able to go more than an hour without crying.
As someone else said, June was so easy to love, and I'm so very proud to have been her friend.
