Farewell my friend
Apr. 10th, 2021 01:46 pmYesterday we lost
jj1564.
All of us, as we go through life, have the privilege of meeting the occasional person that really amazes and inspires us. JJ was one such person.
We met through Lj back in 2013, and over time, we moved beyond our mutual interest in Supernatural and came to realise we had a lot in common. We were a similar age, we both had the same wicked sense of humour and we were both proud South London girls. We realised that we'd both spent the first years of our lives living about a mile and a half apart!
Throughout the whole time I knew her, JJ was living with Motor Neurone Disease, and she bore this illness with huge fortitude and positivity, and even humour. She was without a doubt one of the bravest, most admirable people I have ever known and the world is a poorer place for her passing.
Rest in peace my lovely friend. I just know you'll be chasing Dean around in heaven now; he doesn't stand a chance!!

Date: 2021-04-12 06:04 pm (UTC)She really, truly was a joy to know, and a fantastic person. My heart goes out to her family; they've been through so much. I feel absolutely numb. I've lost my 'found' sister.
