We agree on the Escargot. Yuck is right.

So, to what purpose were you in a police car? Were you a perp? or some other nefarious type of person??? Heh heh

Well, I'm sure it will come as a great disappointment, but I'll tell you the same story I told a couple of the other ladies:

Okay, so I used to go horse riding every Sunday morning from the age of about 12 to early 20's at a stable about a mile from where I lived, and it was in the days before I drove, so I used to walk to and from the stable, sometimes with a friend but more often on my own.
One day, I got back from a hack to find a policeman at the stable. Unfortunately the tack room had been broken into overnight, and three saddles had been stolen.
He did his investigation, took a couple of statements from the stable manager and me, and then we all sat with a cup of tea and chatted for a while.
Then I decided it was time for me to head home. I'd walked about 400 yards, and his car pulled up behind me, and he wound down the widow and offered me a lift home.
When I was in the car, I told him just to drop me on the corner of my road to save going out of his way, and he said no - he wanted to see my parents' faces when I pulled up outside their house in a police car!!!! XD

Well, that was nice of the policeman. I love it that he wanted to see your parents' faces. So, how did they react? I bet he got a kick out of it. Too funny.
