Well, it's been three and a half years since I discovered the phenomenon that is Supernatural.  Three years since I entered the fandom, first time at Jus in Bello convention and finally, FINALLY, I got my first look (and touch) of Jensen in the flesh - so to speak - today.

I'm having deep and meaningful ponderations as I sit here and reflect on a fun and exhausting day, and  the question I find myself asking is this:  Is Jensen the most beautiful human being I have ever set eyes on?

I think the answer really has to be an emphatic yes ...

I keep telling myself I am not a silly, hormonal, lovelorn teenager.  Nope, I'm a silly, hormonal, lovelorn 45 year old woman.,  I've got a sneaky feeling that might actually be worse :)

Bless, only three and a half years? A mere babe *G*. Although I admit it took me a couple of years to find fandom, and every so often I try to escape (although not very hard).

Oh the glory that is Jensen! And I fully agree with your deep and meaningful ponderings. Yes, he really is the most beautiful human being I've ever clapped eyes on (My long suffering other half is well aware of my feelings on this matter and just rolls his eyes a lot).

As for me being a silly, hormonal lovelorn 43 year old (I'm 44 next Friday), I have accepted my fate and I'm going with it whole heartedly.

As I say, I'm a recycled teenager, and I plan to grow old disgracefully!

you're making me feel much better about being a silly, hormonal lovelorn 40 year old woman.
My elder daughter likes to chant 'Mummy loves Dean' if she spots his photo on my laptop. Goodness knows what she would say if I ever managed to go to a Con (and I wouldn't take her - she doesn't appreciate him!)
