Snowflake Challenge - Day 8

Day 8 - In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much.

This teeny weeny little video is a single scene from Supernatural S1 E04, Phantom Traveller. 

It's the scene that I blame 100% for firstly falling in love with Dean, which led to falling in love with our show, which led to being inspired to write fan fic and create fan art, which led to meeting all you wonderful peeps, discovering the joy of conventions, meeting J2 and generally just loving the fandom life!

Oh yes, I think this made many a fangirl fall for Dean! Or fall even more for Dean, in my case! Such a perfect body...

I read a really good fan essay once about the sexualising of Dean's body, and how they portray him how other shows portray their women eg: this scene, and the slow-mo scene where he walks down the stairs in the tux.
It was a really interesting essay, and so true when you think on it. :)

As a feminist, I applaud men being sexualised in this way to balance things out - oh who am I kidding, I just love perving on Jensen!
