At first glance I saw the same thing. But, what the heck is a Batard?????? Is that some kind of English term? Very weird name for bread.

It's bizarre, isn't it!
I'd never heard of it before, it's a new product in the supermarket, so I had to look it up when I got home.
Apparently a bâtard is a type of bread similar to baguette, but shorter. It's a french term.

Aahhh.. Of course, it's French. That explains it all. Weird names are always coming out of that language.
