Well that was a fun four weeks ... let's not do it again for a VERY long time!

I've been dreading it, but now it's over (well, almost anyway).  The long awaited redecoration of my living room is nearly done.  After 4 weeks of upheaval, my home has gone from this:






to this:



Okay, I'll admit the camping chairs ensemble doesn't do much for the new look, but they're all we have until the new couch arrives in six weeks.

Proper curtains and ceiling lights can wait until the new year!

It is much lighter, and we've offloaded a couple of pieces of furniture that made the room look darker too.

It will be black leather - I didn't want to o/d on the burgundy!

that's a good choice! i can't believe you'll be in camping chairs for 6 weeks though! (that's a long time)

The camping chairs are an improvement on the beanbags we have been sitting on for two weeks. We eventually had to concede that our poor backs would never survive another six weeks in beanbags!
