Well that was a fun four weeks ... let's not do it again for a VERY long time!

I've been dreading it, but now it's over (well, almost anyway).  The long awaited redecoration of my living room is nearly done.  After 4 weeks of upheaval, my home has gone from this:






to this:



Okay, I'll admit the camping chairs ensemble doesn't do much for the new look, but they're all we have until the new couch arrives in six weeks.

Proper curtains and ceiling lights can wait until the new year!

The camping chairs are an improvement on the beanbags we have been sitting on for two weeks. We eventually had to concede that our poor backs would never survive another six weeks in beanbags!

No, it's a print of a painting of three famous racehorses; Red Rum, Desert Orchid and Arkle. I have an unwritten rule of not putting my own pictures up!
Glad you like it; I loved the cool green that we used to have, but it was time for something different :)
