Well, that's it, JIBCon is over for another year, and yet again, we have a treasure trove of memories to pack in our excess baggage for the flight home.




Those delights include Jensen and Misha ballet dancing, another fantastic singing/guitar playing performance from Jensen, a dance off between Castiel and Dean, Mark successfully evading just about every question he was asked through the whole three days (no mean feat), Osric sporting the most epic cosplay I've ever seen, and of course the already-infamous Jensen belly flash (complete with bonus perky nipple) which, as Misha so succinctly put it, 'with the flick of a wrist, you just sold out JIB 2016!'

The shocking news of our lovely moose's health problems threatened to cast a pall over proceedings on Friday, until the Spn-family did what it does best.  We galvanised ourselves, we pulled together; we put that legendary camaraderie into action and the outpouring of love and support for Jared has been overwhelming.  I've been honoured to be a very small part of something truly special and amazing this weekend, and I'm not ashamed to say that I've been close to tears a few times!

This was my own little contribution which I've now tweeted and Fb'd to Jared:

It was clear to see that Jensen was especially concerned about his 'brother' and became very emotional on a couple of occasions, but he was left in absolutely no doubt that he was also foremost in our thoughts.  In return, he opened up to us, baring his soul on a level that none of us could have ever imagined possible, and that was magical.

Overall, although post-con blues are setting in, I feel privileged and blessed to have been able to participate in this fabulous con.  Faith in humanity totally restored!

Oh hun, what a wonderful catch up post! We have MISSED YOU! But I'm so glad you not only got some wonderful memories but chance to see Jensen see us loving him and his brother! *hugs* The outpouring of adoration and support has been overwhelming hun, it's been truly a pleasure to be a small part of, speaking of, I hope you gave that eyeliner a good and well deserved send off!

Mmm lovely belly flash and bonus perky nipple! I'm so pleased you had a great time, and I'm sure it was extra-special because of all the Padalove! The vids I've seen of Jensen have been so lovely, he looks so sad at times, but then he does that beautiful smile with the eye-crinkles, awww!

It certainly was special, I don't think I've ever felt anything like it! My eyeliner was glad to sacrifice itself for such a good cause :)

*Hugs* Hey there, damn we've missed you but it looks like you had an amazing time. I admit I may have teared up a few times during this weekend, as I saw all the love been shown to Jared. But I'm glad that you guys let Jensen know we feel the same way about him. I promise your eyeliner did not die in vain, it was a lovely gesture.

Now onto the shallow *G* Ye Gods one flash of flesh, and the whole of fandom is a quiver! And damn Jensen's right about how perky his nipples are.

I've just seen the video of the belly flash, and I love Jensen reaction when he realizes what he's done. Awesome!

When I first heard about Jared pulling out of JIB I was worried that your weekend wouldn't be the same, that it would feel off because it was without him. Then, after seeing how Jensen and everyone else tried to make it that much more special and hearing your review about how Jensen became emotional a couple times and opened himself up a little more than usual, I am sure the weekend was very special for everyone as you all gathered in love and support for one of our family. I haven't seen any of the vids yet, but look forward to watching them in the next couple of days.

I love your pic with jensen. Great sacrifice of your eyeliner, and Jensen couldn't be more cute the way he has his head on yours. Very darling.

And who wouldn't love his flash of skin. Damn, he is a mighty-fine specimen. I want to see that vid especially. Seen pictures, but really look forward to watching the vid of that moment.

Of course it would have been great if Jared could have been there, but in his absence, I think we made the best possible time of it; I think Jared is under no illusions as to how the fandom feels about him.
