Day 6 - What's your favorite new Fall 2023 TV show?

I don't know specifically if its a new show, but Mr D and I have just discovered The Haunting of Hill House and the Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix.  They're both brilliant, very atmospheric and watchable.

The Fall of the House of Usher is not for the faint hearted, but is a fabulous reimagining of the works of Edgar Allen Poe and and has some brilliant/hideous death scenes. I highly recommend it, even if you have to watch from behind a cushion!!

There are, I believe, a couple of shows by the same director which we'll definitely catch up with soon :)

The Haunting of Hill House has 2 sequel series, if I remember correctly. You might want to check those out too, if you can :) (They might be the other shows you were talking about)

It's good to hear that about The Fall of the House of Usher. I was worried it would be all hype and not worth the watch.

I'm about half way through The Fall of the House of Usher and I'm really liking it. Horror in general isn't normally my thing, but there is something about this one that really hits for me, maybe because of the very gothic feel to it, plus all of these characters are pretty awful people so it doesn't hurt too much when they die.
