This is a very fortuitous challenge because I’ve only just today finished a piece of fan art for when I go to Jus in Bello convention at the end of February.

One of the non-Supernatural guests is Ricky Whittle who plays Shadow Moon in American Gods.  Now I have never seen a single episode of the show, but he’s the one guest that I had nothing for him to sign, so I thought I’d go for it! 

The character is bald and – I don’t know if it’s just me – but bald heads are far harder to draw than hair!

That's a great picture.

Yes, bald heads are hard, because they're slightly reflective but not like a smooth ball.

Dimples, really, or divots. Humps and hollows. Then you have to consider whether that person's skin is more oily (a shiny head) or dry (a matte head). And stubble, if they are not completely bald; it can make patterns and shadows.
