Snowflake Challenge - day 9

In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, time you spent in the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well. I’ve only operated in the Supernatural fandom since 2010, and I’ve done a lot of fanart for that fandom.  There can’t be many characters I haven’t drawn over the years.  There is a comfortable familiarity with a lot of the characters, as I’ve drawn multiple versions of many of them.

Fan art for other shows, even if I love the show, always feels a bit like stepping out of my comfort zone. 

With Jensen moving over to The Boys, a show that I enjoyed before Jensen joined it, I’ve attended a Boys convention and have another one organised, and I’ve been doing some fan art for Boys characters. I’m gradually getting these autographed by the actors.

I hope to do some more before the next convention, and I’m enjoying getting stuck into some new characters. 

On the whole, I’m pretty pleased with the results so far!

that is some really nice art. i haven't seen the boys yet because i might have been warned too strenuously about the violence, but it has karl urban! and now jensen! so i want to push through.

It is very violent and bloody, but if it helps, it's kind of 'graphic novel' type violence, sort of 'so' over the top, you can't take it seriously. It's basically Kripke without his CW muzzle on!

It's very sweary and just very adult in every way, but it's just awesome!
