December Meme - Day 17

dizzojay December 17 → something that made you happy this year
Lots of things made me happy this year:
My Dad recovering from his health issues, having a birthday that wasn't in lockddown, getting back to going to conventions and catching up with my lovely friends again - especially those from overseas who I hadn't seen since 2019, seeing Jared and Jensen's post-Supernatural projects going from strength to strength, and bringing them both to entirely new and appreciative audiences... just those things for starters.
But there has been one constant this year. One thing (well, two things actually) that have brought us nothing but joy and entertainment all year.
Juniper and Nutmeg, our bunnies.
Watching them grow, both physically and in confidence and personality, those bunnies have been an absolute delight. Hearing Mr D say that he had no idea how intelligent and entertaining rabbits could be, and watching him bond with them has been simply adorable.
Those little ratbags have well and truly nibbled their way into our lives and family (even my Mum calls them her grandbabies!)
They have been a huge source of happiness and laughter this year!

The bank keeps dragging their heels to the point I'm thinking we're just going to end up getting a "Dear John" letter in the mail... I am even honestly beginning to consider if maybe we can just get rid of all the old housing on the land and bring in a new trailer... Despite all the memories...
