dizzojaySo, yesterday morning, train strikes notwithstanding, I headed off to Olympia in London for London Film and Comic Con. I had one specific purpose for going, and this was the it:
I do have a soft spot for the wonderful Mister Tennant and I'm thrilled to say he was every bit as delightful as people say he is!
After the photo, I also got an autograph. I did some artwork for this very purpose a few weeks ago, and this was the result:
He loved his picture and once he'd asked if it was my work, he asked a couple of questions about it. What was it drawn in? (it's pastels) and how long did it take? (about 6 hours)
Then he said "I can't draw for toffee".
I replied, "You drew a pineapple!"
He laughed and told me it was his wife that drew that! 😂
