Here are two of my gloriously untidy and stuffed-to-bursting bookcases.  I have two more, equally chaotic and I love all of them :)

Oh, I love books. There is something cool about cracking open a book and turning the pages to read it. You don't get that feeling with a computer or tablet. Sadly, I do most of my reading now on my iPad or computer.

I agree. Kindles etc are very convenient and I wouldn't be without mine, but nothing beats the feel and smell of a new book!

Also- what covers do you have, I bet UK versions have different art than US. There's an new edition in the US with art that I don't have yet, and I'm waiting for it to start turning up in the used book stores.

*Bounces* Right there with you BB, every time I look at my shelving (book and dvd) I get this tiny (okay MASSIVE) happy and it's a sense of pride that comes with the knowledge you worked hard, earnt the right to buy yourself all of these things you treasure! :)

Yep, that's it, plus it's the anticipation of the hours of entertainment I know I'm going to get every time I buy a new book! :)

Me too, lol, I sit there and kinda of sigh into a new book, knowing I'm gonna enjoy myself for the next 300 odd pages :)
