This weekend,
amberdreams and i went to Vought Con in Birmingham, UK.
It was a convention for 'The Boys' TV show. Due to a couple of late cancellations, there were only 4 guests, but with only about 400 attendees, it turned out to be a really lovely intimate affair.
The guests were:
Antony Starr: Homelander
Tomer Capone: Frenchie
Aya Cash: Stormfront
Colby Minifie: Ashey Barrett
I only attended for the Saturday, but was able to get everything done that I needed to do, before I headed back home on Saturday evening.
I headed up to Birmingham on Friday afternoon, so after registering for the convention,
amberdreams and I were able to spend a good few hours together catching up and enjoying a nice lunch before festivities began.
I had photo ops with all the guests on Saturday morning, and they all threw themselves into the experience with gusto. We had great fun!

Tomer and I did the Frenchie Finger!

Aya is deceptively tiny!

Colby and I had a nice chat about travelling for the first tme after the pandemic!

Antony was game for a laugh
I had managed to create two artworks for the convention, and they were well received!
Both Antony and Tomer liked my artwork. Tomer took a photo of his, he seemed quite overwhelmed by i!

Voughtcon 2 has just been announced for March next year, so I've already got my ticket! I think, as word gets out, it will never be quite as special and inimate as it was this time, but it looks to be a great event, so I'm looking forward to supporting it for the next few years!
