Challenge 15

And finally, I’ve come to the end of Snowflake for 2022 ☹
There’s been such a lot going on in my world in recent months and weeks. Work has been manic, we’ve been dealing with my father’s sudden illness, we’ve been doing some decorating and, annoyingly, a load of our home appliances have decided to pack up and shuffle off this mortal appliance coil all within a month of each other, and so consequently I’m late wrapping up Snowflake. But, on the plus side, that segues nicely into my challenge…
My challenge is purely and simply to make time for yourself.
We all have so many commitments now it’s a 24-hour world: family commitments, work commitments, social commitments, chores and projects and errands that need completing, promises made, conversations started and never finished, sometimes the list seems never ending.
With everything going on, its very easy to forget something important; Ourselves.
So my challenge is nothing seismic, nothing dramatic. It’s simply to stop. Every day, take five for yourself. Stop and smell a flower, stroke a cat, watch the clouds, listen to a song, just breathe.
You’re all you have, and you’re priceless and irreplaceable. We all are.
Just take a moment every day to remember that.
xx
