Okay 2021, I've had enough now...

So tomorrow, we have a difficult day ahead of us.

Mr D and I are attending the funeral of Michael, the husband of my longest-standing friend, Jane.  Jane and I go back fifty years, and I've known Michael for over twenty of those years.  Mr D has known MIchael just as long.  My heart is breaking for Jane and what she must be going through.

This will be my fourth funeral of the year, and I've really just had enough now.

Please, 2021, can I not lose anyone else?

Oh no, Jane, that's dreadful. All my love to you and your namesake — I'm sure having you there to support her tomorrow will be very much appreciated. Courage, my friend. Be strong for her then lean on whoever you need to later. You know we are here for you.

It's not a pity party. The year has been a stress test amped to way beyond the legal limit. Smh.
