Checking in on my European friends

I'm hearing all about these terrible floods going on in Belgium and Germany, and people dying and people going missing.
I'm hoping all of you in those countries and any others affected by this freak weather are staying safe and well with your families and friends.

All kinds of weird weather going on around the world. My heart goes out to those affected by the floods. Awful thing.

To give feedback from Cologne, we are keeping an eye on the river. We still have some give before it gets really damaging. I had some colleagues without power and flooded basements and parts of the subway are down, but it could be worse. We are better prepared than a lot of other places as a big city with regular floods.
