It's almost bunny time!
This is our last pre-bunny weekend, so we went out on Saturday shopping for provisions. It's going to be a voyage of discovery, to see what works best and what they like best, but for now, we've been out and about and ended up with two bales of dust-free meadow hay, some specially formulated grass pellets for young rabbits and a bag of wood pellets for their litter box. The fun part is going to be experimenting with what fruit and veggies they like, but those can come from the local supermarket next week!

This afternoon we did the last piece of work on the rabbit-proofing. It was the bit we've been putting off because we new it was going to be fiddly and laborious - fitting trunking along the skirting board to cover up the wires that ran along that wall.
Bless him, Mr D did all the work because I'm too cack-handed to be trusted with delicate wires and cables, but it's all done now, and looks so much neater than it did before!
As an aside, If you know anyone who thinks rabbits are easy, low-maintenance pets, please show them this picture...

Date: 2021-07-05 08:17 pm (UTC)They're not doing too badly with the little box. We haven't had any pee accidents outside of their box yet, so that's fantastic, still need to work on the 'currants' though!! :)
