There's a lovely lady called Sam that I work with. She's our receptionist, and she's very good at her job. She's really friendly, very efficient and has a WICKED sense of humour!
Sam is turning 50 on Saturday, and so I and my colleagues in the HR department all decided, as we couldn't get together to celebrate this milestone (not at the moment, at least), that we would make a celebratory video to be shown at a Zoom drinkies meeting on Friday.
We were all asked to contribute a video greeting in whatever form we liked, and these would then all be edited together to create a nice ten minute video to celebrate Sam's big day.
So, for my contribution, I decided to write a little poem for our Sam, and got Mr D to film me reading it.
So here, just for jolly, is me performing my poem - and ably demonstrating why performing arts is not the career choice for me! In my defence I was trying to read the poem on my computer screen which Mr D was holding while he was filming, and it was right on the very limit of my screen reading distance!!
(Please excuse the rabid ungroomed badger that appears to have taken up residence on my head!)
