A little drabble written for the Fanfiction.net drabble challenge this weekend. The challenge word was 'tie'
A missing scene for 1.04, Phantom Traveller.
"Man. I look like one of the Blues Brothers!" "No, you don't. You look more like a seventh grader at his first dance."
Just how difficult was it for Sam to get Dean suited and booted for the first time?

"Okay, Dean, so put it over your head, round your shirt collar."
*sigh* "Okay, now what?"
"No Dean, not like that, this side needs to be longer."
"Damnit Sam, this is so stupid."
"No it's not stupid; you should know how to do this anyway."
"Hmmph!"
"Right, now wrap this end round that end twice … no, not that way, the other direction."
"Seriously? I need a degree in fricking engineering to do this!"
"Okay, now try again."
"And guys do this crap every day?"
"Yeah Dean, they do, and they don't moan about it anywhere near as much as you do."
"Right, now thread the long end through the loop that you made with it."
"Long end, right. Like this?"
"Good, now give it a little tug to tighten the knot."
"Little tug, right."
"OK, that's great, now let me just …"
"Hey, hey … keep your hands to yourself!"
"I'm just straightening it up, numbnut!"
"Heck Sam, I hate this. I look like a complete pussy."
"You're welcome Dean, glad I could help."
"Feel like I'm being strangled."
"Don't tempt me, Dean. Seriously, don't."
"I still don't see why I gotta wear a tie!"
