Well here we are again.  Another week of lockdown, and the most exciting thing to happen to me in the last week was watching (and listening to) a very prolonged, and very noisy scrap between multiple jackdaws in my back garden this morning.  (Mr D put peanuts out for the birds before he went out to work today, but no other birds could get a look in once these gutty little buggers kicked off).

On the plus side, it was far more interesting than the online meeting I was attending for work ...

But anyway, I have nothing of note to say because, well, nothing of note has happened!

So in the absence of any juicy gossip or witty repartee, here's some complementary sleeping Dean for you.

Enjoy ...

We are all suffering from a lack of subject matter. Thanks for the bonus Jensen!

Sleeping Dean is always welcome, just as little notes to say nothing of note has happened are. ;D

Why not write about Sam and Dean as Jackdaws fighting over who ate more peanuts from your back yard. Or maybe Dean is complaining abouth the lack of peanut pie.

Fever does strange things to my brain.

I think a bunch of jackdaws scrapping over peanuts is preferable to any work-related meeting! And pretty similar to some meetings I've endured! Lovely sleeping Dean *happy sigh*

Oh definitely. I sometimes forget that the people the other end can see me when I'm sitting there engrossed in something which clearly has nothing to do with their meeting XD

Ahhhhh, so pretty. So precious.

Jackdaws are birds. When I first glanced through your comments I was interpreting it that your neighbors were a bunch of jackdaws having some kind of loud discussion. Then to reread it to find out they are birds. I like my first thought better. I like the thought of calling some idiot neighbors jackdaws. Interesting word.

Jackdaws are small members of the crow family. They're beautiful birds, mostly black with silver collars and eyes. Although they don't have the size and strength of a crow, they have more than enough attitude to make up for it.
A jackdaw would be a perfect name for someone with inflated opinions of themselves!

That is a pretty bird. I don't think I've ever seen them around here.

I'm not sure what their spread is. I know they're fairly widespread around Europe, but I don't know about the US. I'll have to check it out!

Curious enough, I did look it up. They are called the Western Jackdaw and can be found across Europe, western Asia and North Africa. So, no US for that bird. Too bad. It's a pretty one.
