The brothers sat in miserable silence on the single cot in their cell in the local police station.

"Dean, I'm …" Sam began.

"Not your fault Sammy," Dean interrupted.

Sam sighed; "perhaps I over-reacted?"

"Nope," Dean responded defiantly; "dude deserved it."

"The guy was only doing his job," Sam continued.

"He's a dick," Dean replied.

"We were at a fairground," Sam observed; "we should have expected it."

Dean turned and glared at Sam.

"Look Sam. It's not your fault, ok? You only screamed like a girl when Mr Jiggles the clown jumped out and shouted 'BOO'. I was the one that punched him on the nose!"
