STUCK ON A STICK

It's only a stick, but Castiel is giving it a LOT of thought …
Castiel always remembered the first time Dean mentioned the 'stick up his ass'.
It occupied his thoughts for months. Did he really have a stick up his ass? He couldn't feel it. Surely it would make sitting down very uncomfortable. Did he have a stick anywhere else? Up his nose, for instance?
Was it a big stick? Or small? And how did it get there?
He didn't ever remember Jimmy Novak talking about having a stick in that vicinity. Surely that would have been very detrimental to his health.
And how did Dean even know there was a stick there?
He remembered the time many years ago that he gave into his concerns and asked Dean to check for him.
He was quite sure that Dean's horrified and expletive-laden response would have been physically impossible for someone with a stick inserted in their ass.
Now Castiel doesn't really think about the stick anymore. He's not even sure it's still there – if indeed it ever was.
Perhaps it fell out sometime?
No, Castiel was sure he was currently devoid of sticks of any kind. Even the ever-charming Crowley, when last they met, referred to him as a 'stickless wonder'…
… or something like that.
