Well, it's one year to the day since my finest hour - NOT.

Because I actually thought that rolling down a hill in a big plastic ball might be a good idea, THIS is how I woke up on 4th June 2018 after the events of the previous day...

This is how things looked a week later ...

Now, exactly one year later, I'm glad to say almost all back to normal (such as 'normal' is where I'm concerned).  My dear friend Dave can finally look me in the eye again - not that I ever blamed him, poor bloke!

The left shoulder has the doctor's projected 85% range of movement and, even better, no pain.   It appears to have dropped very slightly because I seem to have a never-ending battle with bra straps and gravity on the left hand side - and it has more clicks than a knitting pattern.

But all things considered, I'll take now over then - no contest!

Hard to believe that accident was already a year ago. My how time flies. Nice to hear that you are more or less back to normal. It does take a long time to heal after accidents like that, especially for us older blokes.

Ahh, the never ending battle with the bra straps. The hated bra straps, wish we could do away with them, or make them easier to deal with.

I know, the year seems to have flown, I can't believe it myself! Such a lot has gone on, and that's probably why it's gone so quickly!

Wow, time flies when you're recuperating from a major break!! You've done so well to regain so much movement, but no more throwing yourself downhill, plastic ball or not!!

I think my good recovery can be very much credited to the great work of the physiotherapists, and yes, don't worry, the only time I'll roll down a hill from now on will be by accident!!

A year??? OMG. You don't have pain, that's the most important thing...that, and a good range of motion.

Yes, I'm happy with the outcome - the physiotherapists did a sterling job!

I'm glad you are not having pain and that sounds like a good range of movement after an injury like that.

Yes, I'm really happy with how it all turned out - the physiotherapists did a great job!

Of course, all the smiles in the world. Crap that bruise
looks familiar. Wasn't it astonishing how many colors
you went through?

I have to say, I'd never seen a bruise like it!
I still can't believe we somehow managed to sustain the same injury within a week of each other. That's just spooky!
