Happy Post: Fandom Friends

I ventured up to London yesterday afternoon, and had a wonderful evening with the gorgeous cuddyclothes

We'd talked about meeting up when she first told me she was coming over to London a couple of months ago, and it was fabulous to finally meet up!

We met up at Waterloo, under the clock, because - well, when you meet at Waterloo, that's what you've gotta do!!  And from there, we went for a lovely stroll in the sunshine along the South Bank.

We ended up in the lovely restaurant in Sea Containers House (which is a lot more sophisticated than it sounds), and I don't think we stopped yakking all evening :)

So that's another wonderful online fandom friend I've been blessed to be able to finally meet in person.  I've done this a few times now, and it never gets any less special.

Thank you cuddyclothes, it was an absolute pleasure, and I hope this won't be the last time we meet up.

There was talk about you coming over to London sometime, is that still likely to happen?

I'll have an appointment on June 11th for a knee surgery but after this - oh yes, my friend - LONDON IS CALLING! And I'm so looking Forward to Meeting you. Finally!
