Bees ...

Over recent weeks I have been busy (or maybe 'buzzy') working on a very exciting art project for a local pub called 'The Bee'.  The new owners want to capitalise on the name of their pub (which the previous owners patently failed to do) and commissioned dapplegrey art to do a set of bee cartoons which, as well as being pictures to hang around the bar for decoration, will also be the pub's sign and logo.

I am delighted to report that this evening, all of my bees went to their new home where they were clearly very well-loved and were made very welcome!

Ha ha for some reason I was expecting bee portraits rather than cartoons - these are great, love them!
