Snowflake Challenge - Day 13

dizzojayDay 13 - In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Last year as a direct outcome of the Snowflake challenge, I set myself a number of goals, both fandom and real life goals, which I ended up putting myself under quite a lot of pressure to achieve. Out of all of them, there were two goals which I failed to achieve.
The first of those was to lose some weight and get a bit fitter ... mainly because I have no willpower ( !! ) and because last year was a very sociable, big birthday year, so dieting - or any kind of long-term healthy eating - was just a bit of a lost cause
The second was to do something for a good cause which didn't just involve donating money. I'd actually signed up for a Pretty Muddy fun run/assault course in aid of cancer research, but I'd barely even started to train for it when my well-documented fractured shoulder happened and subsequent doctors orders put the kibosh on any assault course plans!
So, I'm going to set myself those two goals for this year. Nothing else, just focussing on those two things because they are both interlinked, and if I achieve one, I can achieve the other.
As an aside, I would like to write more fandom words (30,250) than I did last year, but I'm not putting myself under pressure to do that - and hopefully the words will flow as a result, I'll just keep that as 'a nice thing to do'.
