Snowflake Challenge - Day 12

Day 12 - In your own space, create your own challenge. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

My challenge is to spread the love and security of fandom to the real world.  Make someone smile each and every day.  It takes so little to brighten someone's day; a 'good morning', a 'thank you', a 'how are you?' Just the tiniest gesture can give someone's day a lift.

Ha, I try to do this, and here in the NW I get odd looks. I grew up in the south, where folks are friendly, and sometimes people elsewhere think that behavior is a bit off.

It's similar here in the UK as well, big cities don't tend to be as friendly as small communities.

The joke would be that the people of the NW (at least in the States) don't make it to socialization until after coffee, and the trick is figuring out how much they need before they've reached it.

Yes, I live in Washington, and it's the land of coffee drinkers.

Much drama in the last HOA meeting over which company will get the new coffee shop spot nearby...
