December 4th - Talk about Television this year.

This may sound odd, considering I'm a crazy Supernatural nut, but I really don't watch a lot of TV.

As always, the highlight of my TV year was and always will be the fact that Supernatural has been renewed, and I get to enjoy another series.  The current series normally airs on E4 here in the UK starting about January, but I can't wait that long.  I generally record it on Sky Plus to help the ratings, but I always watch it real time ... I have ways and means!

I'm also thrilled that we have a lady Doctor Who, and I will definitely be catching up with the latest series - although I haven't got my act together to do that yet ... it's on my to do list!

I'm really, REALLY, excited for the remake of Watership Down which is airing on BBC1 here on 22nd and 23rd December.   The list of vocal talents involved reads like a 'Who's Who' of British acting and, well, it's Watership Down!  Don't expect much from me on those days :D

Finally, there's also a new David Attenborough series, Dynasties, airing at the moment, and although I haven't been watching it on TV, the DVD is on my Christmas list.  I love me a few hours with the man himself - a national treasure in every true sense of the phrase!

I get you with the TV. I pretty much only watch Supernatural too. That said, I will watch TV whenever I'm home sick, but that is usually 10 minutes of TV & a long nap. ;p

I heard there was a female Doctor, but I missed the first & subsequent epis, as I have no clue when it's on BBC America. XD Whenever I check, I never see it. T.T So I've been searching for it online. Hopefully, I'll find it. :D

Cool! Enjoy it!

Yeah? I hope they bring it over here! I'd love to see him filming a nature show! Mr. Attenborough has a way of making everything sound really awesome & exciting! :D

I am like that too - I hardly watch any TV unless it is something the kids or hubby is watching.

The trouble is, there's so much crap on TV now!

I'm not much of a TV watcher either. My TV year consists of SPN, Doctor Who and Agents of Shield, though I'll be adding Game of Thrones to that next year, having binge watched all 7 seasons on DVD this year. I've recently been binge watching Death in Paradise on Netflix, too, which is quite entertaining as these things go.

Jodie Whittaker's doing a great job as the Doctor, btw, though the actual episodes have been of a variable quality.

I really will catch up with her series, probably over the Christmas break!
The snippets I've seen look very promising.

I can't wait until Game of Thrones next year … I hope we'll be seeing more of your mini GoT boys in the lead up to it :)

I think you'll like the new Doctor, I think she's great and I really wasn't sure if it would work at first. And I thought of you when I heard James McAvoy talking about Watership Down on The One Show, it looks great! I've recorded Dynasties, I love DA's programmes, he is an international treasure!

David Attenborough is a total hero of mine. Hee has been ever since I first watched 'Life on Earth' when I was about ten.

I'm sure the new Watership down is going to be fantastic. I'm a little bit apprehensive about watching it as I couldn't make it though the trailer without being in floods of tears, so I'm going to be a wreck after watching the complete show!!!

Oh yes, I loved 'Life on Earth' too, and still have the book version my parents bought for me.

Watership Down looks amazing, but I think you need to watch with a large glass of wine and a box of tissues!!
