Spoilery reflections on 8.14

After a shaky start, I am loving season 8 so far ...

I laughed out loud because Dean said 'I hate you' to a horse - I'd kick anyone else's ass if they said that.

Did anyone else notice Dean's face as he was waiting for Sam to take his first bite of burger - he was so excited, and desperate to prove he could make something nice - I made a strange little squeaky noise, that I've never heard myself make before.

and ...

I got all weepy and wibbly because Dean's got a memory foam mattress.

FOR GOD'S SAKE.  WHAT IS THIS SHOW DOING TO ME????

I am SO happy with the direction of show over the past few episodes that I am nearly beside myself. Dean's room!!! I could not stop smiling through that entire scene.

I hope show is listening to the fandom right now, because MORE OF THIS PLEASE!!!!

I had so many feels during this episode. Dean nesting and cooking, their speeches to each other, the boys in glasses (yes, I'm that shallow), there was nothing at all of the animosity of the start of this season

Such a naughty man. He took my mind and hid it in the gutter; it's never returned from there. Seems quite happy actually!
