100 days of Happiness - Day 90

I've been on my travels today visiting my parents on the Isle of Wight.  It was lovely to see them again, as it's been a few weeks.  I took my Mum shopping, and took my Dad to the tip, then we all went up to the local churchyard to see my Grandparents' plot, and put some fresh flowers down.  There may have been a cappuccino and a bakewell slice involved at some point too!

When I was travelling home, there was a lovely sunset over the Solent to see me on my way ...

Yes, it was lovely to see Mum and Dad. Because they live about 60 miles across the water from me, when we get together, we like to spend quality time!

The Isle of Wight is nice, and it depends on what you want from a trip as to where you go on the island. The east side of the Island is very touristy with beach resorts and lots of pubs/clubs etc.
The west side of the Island (where my parents live) is much quieter and more rural, so that's more for the people who like a 'get away from it all' holiday where life moves at a much slower pace and you can do lots of walking, cycling, horse riding, and just generally chill out.
