Party on Boys ... a JJ1564 Birthday J2M Picspam.

So our lovely  jj1564, she of the unparalleled songspam magic and mini mayhem, is having a birthday today. And it is my happy duty to tell her there will of course be a party to celebrate; I've asked the boys to organise it for me ...

They are taking their responsibiity very seriously.  No-one is allowed to interrupt them...






First off, Misha is baking the cake...

He's asked Jared and Jensen to provide some ingredients:





Pumpkin and banana cake...?
Ok, random ... must be West's latest recipe!

But, anyhow, he seems happy with his efforts so far.



So does Jensen!



Jensen is going to write your birthday card.  He's promised to use his best handwriting.



Jared's in charge of the party hats



Jensen's not happy.  He wanted the pink stetson with the pineapples on it but the store was sold out.



In fact Jensen wanted a pink theme generally.  The boys were all on board with this...
Until MIsha misheard the instruction.



Apparently Misha's not allowed to organise anything else now.
At least, not until Jensen stops sulking ...



There will of course be drinks at the party.
the boys always drink reshponshibly ...



In fact, J2 are so busy with the drinks that they've relented and put Misha in charge of the music.



they want to bust a few moves later...
After all those drinks, all they're likely to bust is an ankle!



Of course, the boys want to look nice for your party, so they've spent some time experimenting with outfits...

They're not sure whether to go for casually smart ...



Or smart ...



  Or really smart ...



Or ... uh, wrong event guys!



Now, before the guys can dress up, they need to get nice and clean and fresh.





Uh, do they need polishing, Jensen?



The last thing they need to do is to find you a nice present.  Jared's in charge of wrapping it ...
I think he needs more practice...



Uh Jensen, if you're looking for June's present, you're not going to find it down there!



Um... right, okay.  I stand corrected!

Oh dizzo, this is just AWESOME! It made me smile, chuckle and full-on laugh - and have naughty thoughts, hee hee! I loved "Pumpkin and banana cake...? Ok, random ... must be West's latest recipe!" - if it was, there would be cayenne pepper or onion in it somewhere! Thank you for doing this all with one hand, you are a superstar! And I love my poster book, I'm going to choose one for the wall and alternate it!

So perfectly witty. I still find it hard to fathom that our shy, reserved Jensen, unzipped his pants to look at his underwear at a convention, albeit turned away from the audience, but still, an action that Jensen of old would NEVER have thought of, and an action that I still turn my head at in confusion. He must have been slightly blotted to have done that.

I think the atmosphere at Jus in Bello, definitely brings the guys out of their shell a bit, I can't compare it to a USS con, because i've never been to one, but I think it's a lot more intimate.
And I think there's definitely a certain amount of imbibing goes on too :D

I would agree that JIB is much more intimate than any US Con. The US Cons are all held in these huge ballrooms, and JIB is definitely in a much smaller room, fewer people. Plus you have the advantage of the boys intermingling with other actors on stage and behind the stage. When J2 show up on Sunday, most all the other actors attending the Con have left, or are leaving. On J2 day the spotlight is definitely ON THEM, so that most likely makes them less apt to be extremely silly like they are at JIB. Plus, like you said, the imbibing at JIB definitely makes them looser than normal. The boys are always so busy on their day that if they do imbibe, it's not very much or for any length of time. Definitely no imbibing on stage. Very different atmospheres, that is for sure.
