Kittens and Puppies galore

I've just finished dapplegrey art's latest commission, and this was an unusual one!

The commission was from the lady who, several years ago, bought the original of this picture:






Her brief was:

A matching, or at least similar, picture, but with, instead of two kittens, two spaniel puppies, one ruby and one blenheim, almost as caricatures of her own dogs (or 'the girls' as she calls them!)

And so, this is the finished product, finally completed this afternoon ...

Oh my goodness, they are adorable! You are so good at doing the puppy dog eyes - must be the Sam Winchester effect! - and making their coats looks so strokeable!

Aww, cute! And that goes for both pics! Love the expressions in both, somewhere between curiosity and wariness (especially in the second one, as if the brown/white dog knows that the bumblebee (?) has a dangerous side to her). Great work, Dizzo, and I'm not surprised that your customer not only bought the first pic, but also commissioned the second one!
