Dapplegrey goes west

I've just finished my latest piece of artwork, and I felt like doing something with a 'Native American' feel; and as dapplegrey art is an animal art business, what could be more native american than a magnificent pinto mustang? 

I call him Dreamchaser, and he will be making his public debut when dapplegrey hits the road in early August!


btw.  The dreamcatcher was done freehand and it drove me NUTS!  I didn't even think I knew that many swear words!

You mean you didn't get out your spirograph? ha ha no wonder you were going spare! I love the dreamcatcher though, it was worth the effort. (And spooky as I'm writing a dreamwalking scene for my spn-gen bib bang as we speak...)

Trust me, if I still had a spirograph, I would have used it!

The 'on the road' is something I've done for about the last four years. I have a stall for the artwork and I work craft fayres and art shows and various exhibitions on and off throughout the year, but I spend virtually every weekend in August and Early September over on the Isle of Wight doing the round of big Summer events that take place over there (it's handy for the tourist trade); it's great fun, exhausting, but I love it!

And your dreamwalking scene? There's that Spn hive mind again :)

Yep, I've already got lots of stock, but always looking to do new stuff to keep the stall fresh. All the pictures I've done are on my dapplegrey art Fb page!

Glad you like it. Yes, August is normally a mad month for me. It all finishes after the first weekend in September, and then I just collapse in a heap for a week!
