Where on earth is this year going?

There was a post on my Facebook page this morning that announced that it's 28 days - only 4 weeks until Jus in Bello begins.  Things have been so busy in real life generally, that this hadn't even registered to me, but yes, this time in four weeks, I'll be in Roma with amberdreams, xlittleangx, herminekurotowa, heavenli24, sinfulslasher, sillie82, (and probably several others)  looking forward to meeting the boys again!!!  Excited?  me?  Nah  ... YES!!!

Once again, I've managed to snag a meet and greet with Jensen.  Nervous - moi?  what di you think  ...



Okay, so that'll be my ovaries then ...

Brain is steadfastly refusing to function; I've yet to think of a decent or insightful question to ask him.  I don't think 'can I lick you?' is going to really show me in the best light ... although at this rate, it might be all I can manage.

Before JIB, however, there's another equally significant matter to deal with.  The lovely sasha_dragon and I are venturing up to Blackpool on the weekend before JIB.  We're sharpening our elbows and sallying forth into the melee that is Asylum 18, and that is going to be one long hoot from beginning to end.  For anyone who doesn't know Blackpool, it's the biggest shithole going, so it's wonderful to think that for once, instead of being seen as a congregation of weirdos, Asylum might actually raise the tone of the place!

May is going to be crazy, busy, full of amazing friends and fun, fun, FUN!

Hehe, I haven't been to Blackpool in 20 odd years - has it not improved? I haven't been to an Asylum since... (well, the last one I attended/worked was #3. There's a longer story about a later one), wonder if they have calmed slightly? Wayne should have learned how to run a convention by now!

Sounds like it's going to be an amazing amount of fun! Will you get to see Rome around the con at all, or is it all fangirling? :D

Personally I think "Can I lick you?" is a perfectly reasonable question, but Jensen's minders will probably wrestle you to the floor so you might want to rethink that one.

Ahh Blackpool! The Paris of the north....look it's got a tower alright? Whatever happens I think the weekend will be a riot, especially if the hotel is as bad as the reviews say. I still maintain Wayne is just trying to give us the full Winchester experience, you know strange town crappy hotel. Whatever happens I'm sure we'll have a laugh together.

As for your M&G (not jealous...totes not jealous...nope...nuh-uh...) I think "Can I lick you?" is a perfectly reasonable request. Of course, you could also ask him for a simple DNA sample so that we could all get a Jensen!clone of our own. He's a sweet and generous guy. I'm sure he wouldn't mind accommodating you... *crosses fingers*

Hee hee! I'm really jealous of pleased for you getting a M&G with him. If it helps, I was watching the S10 finale yesterday and I wondered how much fun it was to smash up the motel room, and how many takes it took, so you could ask him that!
