dizzojayThere's been a lot of hoo-hah about these new TOS that we were all confronted with earlier this week.
Now, I'm not a lawyer, and I'm the world's worst at reading smallprint (I don't ever remember reading the terms of service that were in place when I joined Lj in 2010), so although I'll admit these latest T&Cs dont sound particularly friendly, I'm not about to start panicking yet.
Livejournal is my online home, and I'm not about to be driven out of it by some heavy-handed legalese, until such a time as they shut me down, or until staying here becomes too risky to justify.
Having said that, I do now have a dreamwidth account. It's really just a back up of my Lj account, because that's something I should have done a long time ago, and for the foreseeable future it will just run in the background, parallel with my Lj account.
I'm dizzojay over there too, and I'm happy to connect there with as many of my f/list as possible!
Right, so that's the serious stuff done. Now, for no adequately explained reason, here's a GIF of some bloke blinking.
