It occcurred to me that Asylum 18 and JIB are only two months away ... AAAAAARGH!  That means I needed to start thinking about autographs, so I started a new portrait today to take with me for signing.

The hair looks a bit blond but I can see it's Cas. I'm trying to sort out what I'm going to do this time too! Like you say...running out of time! Meep!

That picture was taken with a flash and it really drained the hair colour, but it did need darkening down, and I've put a lot more black into it now to offset the highlights!

Can it be that Cas/Misha's left eye is a bit wonky?

I can see what you say about Cas' eye. The reference picture I'm copying is a bit of an odd one. Castiel has one eyebrow raised which makes one eye look a wider open, and slightly higher than the other. This could either look great when I'm finished it, or it could look like some total Picasso nightmare! Only time will tell :D

I think his hair needs a deeper colour threaded through it, but it is SO Cas :D Isn't it amazing how you can see the difference between Cas and Misha!

His hair has been darkened down now - I have an ultra-dense black pastel which is far deeper and darker than standard black pastels, so I gave him a good covering with that!

Yes, there is definitely a marked difference between Cas and Misha. This is definitely Cas!
