Date: 2017-01-14 06:02 pm (UTC)I probably shouldn't have tried this at the office, since Zygmunt Bauman's "Does Ethics Have a Chance in a World of Consumers?" is bleak enough as it is. Yet "...conditions favorable to the pursuit of happiness so understood..." could have been worse.
