100 Days of Happiness - Day 41
Oct. 6th, 2016 09:19 pmI know I've posted all of these at one time or another at my journal, but whenever I look at them, they make me happy.
From the time I did my art exams at school, I went for years - and I mean YEARS - without drawing people simply because I was convinced I wasn't very good at it and consequenly didn't enjoy it.
Eventually, it was being a member of the Supernatural fandom, and being surrounded by so much amazing fan art all the time that inspired me to give it another try.
My first couple of attempts were pretty naff to say the least, and seemed to bear out my low opinion of my abilities, but with the continued inspiration around me, and the encouragement of my fabulous F/listies, once I finally got my eye in, there was no stopping me!
So here are a few of my favourites of the pictures I've drawn over the last three or four years, and I'm looking forward to doing lots more in the future. Whenever I look at these pictures, I think of my fandom and my fandom friends, and needless to say, that makes me very, very happy!
