"I told you Dean, I'm almost done."

"What's taking so long? I'm starving, man."

"Stop moaning jerk, you've got enough fat reserves to survive a few more minutes."

"I'm sinking fast … the lights are dimming."

"Good, I might get some peace to finish up here then."

"Hummph!"

"At last! I'm friggin' wasting away … what the hell is that?"

"A new recipe; butternut squash and spinach bake."

"Where are you going Dean?"

"To put a padlock on the kitchen door. You're never going anywhere near it again."

UNSUNG HERO

Leaning over the sink in his bedroom, Dean rinsed his grazed knuckles and wearily splashed water over his face.

The cold water felt good, cleansing and soothing his bruised cheekbone and split lip.

His tired eyes drifted out of focus as he watched the fading stream of scarlet spiral lazily around the porcelain before disappearing down the drain.

But, he couldn't help a lop-sided smirk.

Although it had been a bar fight, not a hunt, as far as he was concerned he'd still been dealing with monsters.

Those two redneck morons wouldn't be forcing themselves onto any woman again for a very long time.

The way you write Sam and Dean is brilliant, the first one could've come straight out of an episode! And I'd love to see it in an episode!
