Heehee Not sure exactly, but he was a railway guard and I used to see him from time to time when I caught the train to work, but I usually was with a couple of other girls. Then on this one particular day, I was on my own and I hadn't been able to buy a ticket (Barry would tell you I was dodging my fare) and he just happened to be the guard on my train, so he came and sat down and we chatted for a few minutes while he wrote my ticket out (he let me off a penalty fare) and then the next day, there was a letter left in the ticket office at the station asking me out to dinner!!
Me too with my fateful match! If I hadn't been so lazy with my A levels and got the grades I wanted, I would have gone to Leicester Uni instead of Lancaster and never have met Paul....
