The death of any 27-year-old is a tragedy beyond words, and so I'm not going to waste inadequate words over the terrible and untimely death of this talented young actor.

When I heard an actor from Star Trek had died, I assumed it was one of the older cast from the original series, not from the current films. It was such a shock to us all, I can't imagine what his family and friends must be feeling.
