I guess most of my fabulous F/listies here know a fair bit about me by now, but this meme wants me to introduce myself so here I am ...

I'm one year younger than our lovely lady Impala, but nowhere near as beautiful!  I was born in Lambeth, London and  I'm immensely proud of my London roots.  I've lived at the border of three counties; Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire (about thirty miles west of London) since I was ten, but I am and always will be a London Gal at heart.

I've been married for over 21 years to the awesome Barry, and I wouldn't want things any other way.

I'm five foot seven and have hazel eyes, the darker brown ones, not the pretty swirly green/amber/gold ones that Jared has, and hair that used to be a nice conker brown/verging on auburn but is now grey - let's hear it for hair dye!!!

I have a steel plate in my arm and two crowns on my front teeth because I'm a clumsy git.

In terms of Fandom, I'm strictly monogamous.  It's Supernatural only for me.  I'm a total Dean and Jensen girl, but as far as I'm concerned, on or off screen, those boys come as a gorgeous pair and a spare. Dean, Sam and Castiel or Jensen, Jared and Misha; they're beautiful people inside and out and I adore them all, along with the rest of our amazing cast and crew.

Having said that, I also love Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter, Discworld, Lord of the Rings, Hitch Hikers Guide, Star Wars, and Star Trek TNG to name a few of my favourite shows/films/books, I've just never felt compelled to dip my toe into their fandoms.

Creativity is at the core of my being.  Whether it be writing a fanfiction, drawing a picture or even making a daisy chain, I need a creative outlet as much as I need food and drink.  Without it, I would wither away and die!

I am the Owner/Manager/Slave of dapplegrey art, and that is my trading name as a professional animal portrait artist.  Deciding to take the step up from drawing pictures for my own enjoyment to doing it professionally has been a long and fantastic journey.  I couldn't have done it without the support of my amazing hubby and my wonderful parents.

It's bloody hard work standing at the stall which I would have spent nearly two hours putting up and will spend another hour at the end of the day taking down, and at various times over the last ten years, I've been freezing cold, boiling hot, sunburnt, wading through knee deep mud, trying to hold down a ten foot square gazebo in the teeth of a howling gale and ended many a long day dirty, footsore and aching all over, sometimes for a pittance.  But d'y know what? I love it. I adore it.  Every last tiring, and occasionally frustrating second of it.  Being able to give someone the joy of seeing their long lost pet recreated especially for them is a high no recreational drug can match.

I work in HR and all the latest sagas relating to my work have been well documented at this journal, so I won't go into all that here.

Other than this, there's not much more to tell.  I'm a glass-half-full kinda person, and I believe life is so much more fun when you have a dirty mind!

So, there you are, this is me, buried in a puppy pile of gorgeous men.  (Remember that dirty mind I was talking about ...)

Another meme. I wanna play. There is another 31 day meme going around that is different from this one. Hmmmm, which one to do.

I love these kinds of things that give us all little extra tidbits of information about our friends. I'm always jealous of the creative types. I can't write or draw worth anything. I'm not even a creative cooker or anything, have to go by a recipe or guidelines. ;( Oh well, at least there are creative types out there that can help to make the life more enjoyable of those of us who are not creative. For that, thanks.

And I'm with you, Supernatural will always and only ever be my one and only fandom. No other show could ever take the place of this experience.,

I was always a creative kid that grew into a creative adult. In my school reports, I was always accused of being a dreamer, and my parents always - wrongly - assumed I'd grow out of it (as if a dreamer was a bad thing to be!)

These memes are so much fun, like you, I love doing them. You're probably more creative than you think you are, but even if not, I'm sure there are things you're good at, that the rest of us aren't!
