How did I get so lucky??

Does my husband know me or what?  He knows that every now and again I need to opt out of the human race and escape for a while, and with the shit that's been going on at work, I've been feeling that way more and more.

Then last night, right out of the blue, he announces, 'I reckon it's about time we had a Trilogy Day'.

A Trilogy Day in our world is:

• Just the two of us


• All three Lord of the Rings extended version movies back to back


• A box of chocolates


• At least one bottle of wine


• A take out

I say it again; does my husband know me or what?

That is a good man, and yes, you are extremely lucky. How lovely for you to spend a day like that. When I do that it is with a taco pizza and large bottle of Mt Dew, but unfortunately, it is just me, myself and I. Hope it was enjoyable.
